This service is designed for items with hardware that is faded, dull, or tarnished. First, we hand polish all of your item’s hardware before coating the removable hardware in a fresh layer of precious metal, such as rhodium or 24k gold. This service will not remove every scratch or make hardware new again, but it will restore the color and shine!

Alternatively, if we have appropriate hardware for your item already in our collection, it may be used during your restoration in order to offer a quicker service. We’ve spent decades collecting and restoring hardware to develop a deep catalog of authentic componentry for exactly this purpose. Your current hardware would then be restored for later use so we can continue to offer these services for years to come!

Some componentry (such as certain unbranded grommets) cannot be reused after removal and will be replaced during the service. If an appropriate replacement is not available, those components will not be removed and will simply be polished instead.
